This one involves 15 breweries. 10.5% bourbon barrel aged blend of Imperial Stout, Imperial IPA, Scotch Wee Heavy and a Barley Wine. Made in small pieces by America’s Brewpub, Destihl, Emmett’s Tavern, Flossmoor Station, Goose Island Brewpub, Goose Island Beer Co., Gordon Biersch Bolingbrook, Half Acre, Lunar Brewing, Mickey Finn’s, Piece, Revolution Brewing, Rock Bottom Downtown, Lombard, Orland Park, Warrenville, and Three Floyds. The new Big 4 have established a clear lead, with combined market share estimated at just over 50 percent (pro forma 2009).
