  • Eric Watson, late of Turoni’s fell of a 30’ fermenter earlier this year. He’s now consulting in the Caribbean, Massachusetts, and back home in West Virginia.

New Albanian Tunnel Vision Royal Wallonian Ale “Those hardy immigrant gnomes who came from the venerable hills of the Ardennes to take up residence beneath the mysterious Knobs of Southern Indiana get lonely, too. That’s why NABC gave them Tunnel Vision, a potion reminiscent of home, and sufficiently versatile for consumption in all seasons – and on all continents.”

ClownShoesTrampStampRich James, columnist for the Post-Trip and one has “spent a good bit of time trying to get rid of that ridiculous law” is still getting carded at grocery stores. Marsh, at least, is continuing to card all liquor sales. Sigh.

Now let’s get rid of the whole Moore v. State thing. “When a law exists that can rightly be interpreted to say that one can commit a criminal offense even while sleeping in the passenger seat of a car, clearly we have a problem.” editorial (thanks Roger)

BeerAdvocate editorialized against Boston’s Clown Shoes brand’s Tramp Stamp (among other things). They replied  (among other things) “Tramp Stamp will be renamed ‘Lower Back Tattoo’ to avoid any conflicts with the NAWWRGTS (National Association of Women Who Regret Getting Tramp Stamps)”. This all got the notice of the local CBS affiliate but Jeff Alworth thinks it is all a publicity stunt. blog

And if you think Tramp Stamp is sexist:
bierbitzch-logoYes, it seems to be a real brewery.
