The Hoosier Beer Geeks look at Barrel Aged Beers by summoning the spirits in their most humorous post yet.
Thank Heaven for Beer does a Review of Third Coast Old Ale.
Charlie P. tells us Montana and Washington pass beer bills. Montana will allow beer up to 14% ABV (it was 8.74%). Washington will allow homebrewers to take their beer out of their homes (like Indiana did way back when). Iowa may go to 20%. And more.
Pintprice.com tracks beer prices around the world. Bolivia is the most expensive at $13.15 per pint. UAR, Norway, Djibouti and Greenland round out the top five. Panama is the cheapest at 51 cents. The U.S. is $1.59. Evansville = $2.25. Indy = $4.48. Lafayette = $2.21. South Bend = $3.00. Good place to check out your summer travel plans and if Indy is really that high, it's time for me to travel.

Thanks for the mention on your site. I live in Plainfield, so I'm an Indiana beer guy too.
I missed putting Thank Heaven for Beer in our list of favorite news and blogs. So sorry. Love your attitude - and the recent 5-parter on Beer Trading.
Thanks Bob! I missed responding to this for a long time. Somehow I missed it, so there is certainly no apology needed. We really appreciate the readers that you send our way. You're on our blog role, so I hope you get the occasional refer. Cheers!
