Bloomington Brewing Reports: Ruby Bloom Amber, Quarrymen Pale, Rt. 37 Cream Ale plus a couple of dry-hopped firkin surprises in the Firkin Room and then a barrel-aged Biere de Mars for a special tasting. It’s a Biere de Garde brewed in March aged in an Oliver Winery cask for 3 months!

Upland tells us at least Upland Wheat, DragonFly IPA, and Pils, but also at least 3 sours with Raspberry, Blackberry, and Gilgamesh likely to be offered!

Many other brewers and a lot to sample. For details Brewers Guild of Indiana

For its second year in Bloomington, the cLips of Faith Beer & Film Tour will be presented by New Belgium Brewing on Friday, June 8, from 8 to 11 pm at Bryan Park, Bloomington. Their "beerography" at last year's festival listed 18 of their beers, including their best-known Fat Tire Ale, although only about half that number were served at the event. This year's lineup includes 15 beers, according to their website: Cocoa Mole Ale, Bière de Mars, Tart Lychee (also known as litchi, lychee is the oval fruit of a tree of the soapberry family having a hard scaly reddish outer covering and sweet whitish edible flesh that surrounds a single large seed), Dig, Somersault Ale, La Folie, Fat Tire Ale, Ranger India Pale Ale, 1554 Enlightened Black Ale, Trippel Belgian Style Ale, Abbey Belgian Style Ale, Blue Paddle, Belgio IPA, Shift, and Valentine Brew.

Has anybody heard anything about the free shuttle to the Bloomington Craft Beer Festival? I've checked the Brewers Guild site and emailed them about it, but I can't find any details.
Thanks!
